| Dan Anderson | 1958 | In 1958 I played my last year of high school football with great team mates under the coaching of Marvin Mosconi. I was named honorable mention to the Sporting News All-American high school football team, named to the All-Valley Team, and played in the Kern County Shrine All-star game. In 1959 I played on the Renegade Nation Championship team and the Junior Rose Bowl team, 1960 Potato Bowl team, and in the JUCO All-American All-star game. BC had a 19-1 record during that period. After BC, I went to West Texas State College in Amarillo, Texas in 1961. In 1963 I signed as a free agent with the San Diego Chargers. In 1965 I played in the Continental Football League for Rhode Island. I went on to work 9 years from Douglas Aircraft and 27 years for the LAPD. I retired in 1997 and currently reside in Long Beach. I would enjoy hearing from and seeing old classmates.

| Lynn Klase | 1959 | I went into the Army on September 11, 1959 and was discharged September 10, 1965. I married Monika Edelgard Zschauer, December 6, 1961 in Gross Umstadt, Germany. I attended Bakersfield College from August 1966 to June 1968. In July of 1968, our fourth child was born, and I had to drop out of college for a year in order to pay the bills. In September 1969, I began my upper division college work at Fresno State College Residence Center located across from BC. The next fall Cal-State Bakersfield opened and I finished my Bachelor's degree as part of the first graduating class. I started to work in the Kern River Valley the next fall teaching school at Woodrow W. Wallace Jr. High. I taught and coached at the Jr. High level for 13 (teaching and 12 years coaching basketball.) I moved to the high school level and coached basketball for an additional 7 years. I ended my coaching/teaching career in 2001. Since that time I have been an avid golfer, and I am presently the president of the board of directors for the Kern Valley Golf Course. Since retiring from teaching I have become a minister. As of June 2007 Lynn is managing the golf course and wants to see old friends out on the links. |
